Music is soothing to the soul as it enhances stability of the mind and creates a generally peaceful atmosphere. The music club provides vocal coaching and training on how to play various musical instruments. The members are thus able to discover their musical talents as they sing and play local and foreign musical instruments.
The club members stage multilingual choral presentations and dance performances at the school’s events. We have a purpose built hall, music room and a recording studio to support the performances of the students. The students are taught to play at least one musical instrument and are also encouraged to join the School Orchestra or School Choir.
This will be achievable through collaboration with the SALEM School of Music which will prepare them for the MUSON Examinations. They are also involved in an extracurricular activity focused on dance where they are being taught both traditional, classical and contemporary dances.
